Warmth

“Warmth” combined the work of two artists under a single theme: where comfort can be found. Whether it be in New York City, Havana, Osaka or anywhere else in the world online or off, the human quest for warmth fosters connections and sparks interactions.

In addition to the work itself, certain pieces had additional narration by the artists explaining their inspirations and motivations.

The show was held at Artworks Gallery, located in Winston-Salem’s Arts District.

Julian Silverman is a photographer from New York City who has recently relocated to Winston-Salem as an undergraduate student at Wake Forest University, where he is a Presidential Scholar in the arts. His work focuses on the beauty and human narratives that permeate everyday scenes. He’s a wonderful collaborator. We have fun.
